We would be delighted to have you in the parade. In order to formally register, can you please follow this link and fill it in when you have decided to take part. The closing date for completion of this form is March 8th, 2023 at noon. Forms received after this date will not be considered.
Also, we can confirm the parade will start at Patrick Street at 1pm, with groups lining up in sequence for a 1pm start and follow the usual route up Clanbrassil Street, Crowe Street, Francis Street, Park Street, Dublin Street and will end at the Tesco junction.
As part of our wish to be as inclusive as possible, we are asking all parade participants to switch off music, lights and sirens so that those with sensory difficulties can watch the parade in as much comfort as possible from Utopia Hairdressers on Dublin Street to the end line of the parade.
We will be in touch nearer the time to share details of parade sequencing and times and please take note of the following:
All participants in the St Patrick’s Day parade in Dundalk are required to send one member of their group to a participants’ meeting which will be held at the County Museum, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk, on Thursday March 9 at 630pm to hear about the health and safety at the event, the route plan and to ask questions of the committee. Meeting will last less than one hour.
Our thanks for your interest and willingness to take part in this year’s parade and we look forward to receiving your form and meeting with your representative at the meeting on March 9th.
In the meantime, be sure to complete the form and please email us at [email protected] if you have any further questions.
